Hey there! We’re Roy and Tuktuki, and we made StrangeWild.com and write most of the content on it. We’re glad you want to know more about us. We haven’t taken classes in ornithology, but years of working with birds and doing study have taught us a lot.

At the start of our trip, we really liked feeding and watching birds. This led to a better understanding of their habits, where they lived, and what made them unique. Every piece of material on our site comes from our desire to learn more about birds and share that information with other bird lovers. We love birds, so we know how exciting it is when a new kind of bird comes to your feeders for the first time. Seeing a favorite migrating bird come back for the season makes me happy. Hearing birds sing in your yard and seeing them splash around in the water is very peaceful.
